We added links to the exact or similar items above so you could shop this look, but when we shop, we usually buy a few key pieces at full price throughout the year and mix it with items we found in the back of our closets, thrifted, or get at discounted shops such as Marshall's or Nordstrom Rack. I mean, we got bills to pay and mouths to feed (pets). Kelly got her dress at Marshalls, and I got my top at Nordstrom Rack. It's always hit or miss at these places and if you have the patience, most the time you will find a bargain. I'm still working on that thing called patience. Kelly is a pro.

This weekend we had a last minute backyard grill out on Friday night for Corey's last night in Texas.

Boo.

Saturday, while I was at the salon, Kelly worked on all her freelance jobs at my house.  When I got off we went on our little shopping adventure. We were pooped by the end of the day, so a date with Redbox sounded heavenly. We rented The Call, Jacob wouldn't watch it so he had to hear us screaming from the other room. The ending was a little... hmm... well you'll just have to see for yourself.

Sunday came fast, as usual. We juggled a few tasks, worked on Bueno and had a meeting at one of our favorite spots in town, Double Trouble. Since it was early in the day Robin made us iced coffees with a little coconut cream. It was delish. The rest of the day along with today I will still be looking for the perfect song to go with our video from #kellysradicalbirthdayextravaganza (instagram hashtag). Any recommendations? We need upbeat, fun, and full of summer vibes....

Hope everyone has a productive and fun Monday! We love Mondays! I'm headed to the gym, then off to the salon for a hair class by our one and only Carlos. Kelly's back in the boonies this week and already at the Stash Factory for the day.

WEEKEND ROAD TRIP/// ATX

We hit the road early yesterday morning to make it to Austin by 1pm for our dear friends, Erica and Patrick's Shower. Fail. We got lost, misplaced the gift in the car, and went to an address on the wrong side of town. ah! We finally made it sometime after one and before two... always something. So far it's been one continuous party, with the exception of a giant sugar crash nap. Sooooo many cakes, pies, cup cakes, oh my....

Today we plan on stopping by Helm, and then soaking up the sun at Barton Springs. Follow up on Instagram to see weekend shenanigans

Even though Houston weather has us all believing Summer never ends, our schedules have us facing the facts... It's time to bid farewell to Summer.

Brandi is heading to California for a week, then we are both off to Marfa for a week, and then there's wedding stuff and Pinpoint interviews lined up through the end of the year, so it's time for us to get our game faces on. Because of our crazy work schedules, we are closing down / placing on hold the Bueno shop for a few months. It was a difficult decision at first, but when we thought about quality and timeliness, the decision became easy. We are planning a strong re launch, but for now things in the shop are on hold, but we will still be posting Monday - Friday here on MMBB.
