Yesterday after work I went to make a return and ended up treating myself. I originally bought this shirt in white, but decided to switch out to grey since I don't own a white shirt without a big ol' stain on it. You name it... Popsicles, hair color, wine... maybe the stains won't be so obvious with grey. Haha.
Anyway this shirt is just radical. Long. Flowy. Perfect for layering. Then I saw the Boots and realized these are made for Texas weather. It's freaking hotter than Hell outside and these boots allow for a breeze to reach my feet. I am so glad I have been holding out to find "THE ONES."

Another Plus to these boots is they just zip up in the back which is something I always look for in shoes. (Will these be easy to get in and out of at the airport?)

My friend Erika gave me this Vintage Fish Cuff with bags and bags of treasures. They were her Grandmothers, and let me tell you her Grandmother is bold with her fashion sense and has some kick ass style. The cuff was my absolute favorite. Kelly has a closet full of these rare gems as well, mostly clothing including beaded gowns and perfectly worn slouchy sweaters.

... And what about these white peplum pants!? Does the "no wearing white after Labor Day" rule still apply? I think it's the worst rule ever made in fashion! White is my Jam! I actually won these pants at the TXSC Prom last month. It was really hard to choose one thing because there was so much to pick from, but these babies were just screaming my name."Brandi hey you PSSST...over here!"

PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE /// Big Hair Big Fun

 

Today I brought my pink hair dryer over to the salon because I felt like we needed to feature some of our favorite products. Who doesn't want big hair big fun? If you don't you're probably not from Texas.

I will start by describing my hair:
Silky- you may think this is awesome but I hate it and I put product in it so it's not so slippery.
Fine- but I have a lot of it.
Limp- because all my layers have grown out.

This is how I fix these problems when I want Big Hair Big Fun:
- I wash with Angel Wash Shampoo- It doesn't weigh my hair down.
- After towel drying I spray Anti Gravity or I use the lotion, then I rub body builder all through my roots.
- Most the time my hair air dries but you get better results if you blowdry your hair upside down.
- Once my hair is dry, I wave my hair with the curl stick, dab Powder Puff at the roots and shake it like a polaroid picture!
- And because I love the smell and the texture it gives, I finish off with spraying Hair Resort. It's like the beach in a bottle!
