Eddies Sweet Tea Vodka was such a treat in the sun! One alcoholic beverage for every 3 bottles of water.

*Krista snapped this photo and told them she was going to show their mom...they all freaked. 14 year olds up to NO good. The photo of them with chocolate funnel cake all over their face 10 minutes later did not come out.

BANDS WE SAW: MORRIS DAY AND THE TIME .SNOOP. End of BEST COAST- seriously just the end because of the long line to get in. DESCENDANTS. ERYKA BADU. FLAMING LIPS. WILLIE NELSON. PORTUGAL THE MAN .YOUNG THE GIANT.  TWO DOOR CINEMA CLUB.

FOOD WE ATE: loaded nachos, burgers, gourmet popsicles, and taco's.

THINGS TO PUT IN YOUR BACKPACK: Nalgene water bottle, chapstick, bandana or sweat towel, umbrella, old towel or sheet, cash, extra camera batteries/memory cards, cell phone charger, SPF

I think we consumed more water than we ever have in our whole life...

if i am dancing i am having a good time. i plan on dancing a lot!

I wonder if i will see this guy again. last year i saw him each day of festival and got a photo of him every time. remember my post Best stache at ACL?

I love this guy! I got so happy when i saw him in his pinky undies and chanel like shades.

that's right girl, yawn away, she must have been watching a boring band.

 at ACL it rained and it rained and it rained, which made people start wrestling and sliding around in the mud (POO POO) hahaha. Hello! we knew that! it smelled like it.

usually i'd say don't rain on our parade but this past weekend i said BRING IT!

rain on me, rain on us!

everything was amazing at acl this year, the grass on day one, the rain on day two, and the mud baths and smiling faces on day three. i love texas!

This morning I got a late start, I woke up, my lovely husband brought me my coffee, and I turned on Alexa Chung (MTV). I usually dont watch that show but I liked what she was wearing so I kept it on. HA! The Duke Spirit performed at the end and I really dug it. Liela Moss, the lead singer had an awesome stage presence and killer style. Watching her do her thing had a Nancy Sinatra vibe, more rock of course.

Naturally, I googled the band after the show to find out that The Duke Spirit is opening up for Incubus this month In Austin at the Austin Music Hall(Aug 19) and in Houston at the Woodlands Pavillion (Aug 21). To find out if they are in your city look them up on myspace music:)
