FIX YO MOP /// Purple Haze

Lately I have had the itch to do something different with my hair. We gave Kelly a blunt chop, blunt bangs, and she even went a little darker. I have done nothing. I have been boring. I have been thinking of maybe going on the purple side for Fall, now that it's kind of here in the mornings and evenings.
Do you think all over purple or just the light pieces in my hair would look good?  I mean I don't want to look like I am a hairstylist straight out of school. You know what I mean?  When you see a group of ladies at lunch wearing all black and they all have crazy, stripey, different colored hair. Been there! Done that! We all have!

How To ///
THERE ARE NO RULES!!!  Place your bobby pins wherever you want. Make a simple shape or add chaos to your mop.
I like using Gold or Silver bobby pins on my hair so that they really stand out. Black bobby pins look great on really blonde hair & Silver looks amazing on black hair.

FIX YO MOP /// Teased Half Pony Braid

This weeks (week 3) Hair Challenge was a teased half pony braid. This can be done on long hair or medium length hair.

How To ///
Tease hair at the root, my hair was dirty so I sprayed dry shampoo on my roots.
Pull hair back into a loose half pony and secure with elastic.
Wrap a small section of hair around to hide elastic and bobby pin to secure it.
Tease half pony tail to make section seem like it has more hair.
Braid half pony section, tie in a knot, then tease or secure with elastic band.
Tease and rough braid.

In my Hair ///
Dry Shampoo - soaks up oil on scalp
Powder Puff - this creates more volume and texture with hold
