Our friends from Parra Jewelry made this amazing Wild & Free Orca Pendent to help spread awareness for Killer Whales in captivity. They are donating 50 % of proceeds to BlueFreedom.org.

Have you seen the movie Blackfish yet? If you haven't it's on Netflix and I encourage you to watch it. We watched it and balled our eyes out. So get ready, the truth is hard to watch.

Featherweight Clothing Co. is a line of men’s & women’s vintage-inspired apparel & accessories made In the U.S.A. We met the Krissy at last years Texas Style Counsil and immediately liked her and her line, maybe it has something to do with her Texas roots or that her lover boy is a musician. We wouldn't know anything about that would we? She is a one person business and currently lives in California. Oh California...how I wish we were there right now.

One of our favorite things to do now that it's getting colder is skate to our P.O. Box in the mornings (with Bootsie following) and then have coffee while we open our packages, it's just down the street and it's like Christmas when packages come in. This week we got a package from UncommonGoods and I was really excited for this one because you know us and jewelry. We are very particular about the jewelry we wear and when I saw this Hammered Cuff I just wanted it for my wrist. I'm really into stacking silver, brass, and gold bracelets onto eachother, who wants to stick with just one metal? I think this silver with the rose gold is going to be one of my favorites, I can't even feel it on my wrist it's so dainty and weightless. This is another one I have been eyeing. With Christmas right around the corner I really need to start my shopping instead of waiting til the last minute. UncommonGoods is the perfect place to start since it has a little bit of everything.

Are you one who waits til the last minute to buy gifts for any occassion? Birthdays, Showers, Etc...? Or are you one of those people who plans ahead? I have hopes and dreams of being the type of person who is done with their shopping way in advance but it's not possible because the moment I buy/make something for someone I want them to have right away! Just ask Jacob or Kelly. It's bad.

*Houstonians isn't this weather AMAZING!? I wanna play hooky from work but I can't because we are going to California next week and I just can't do that to my clients.
