I've really enjoyed playing around and experimenting with different foods lately. It makes me feel like a kid again when I would make "secret potions" and try to get people (my siblings) to taste them....except now they actually taste good. Smoothies also are good for when your always on the go, just fill up your cup and take it with you.

FEED THE BEAST /// Pineapple Dreams

Ingredients ///
1/2 cup of blueberries
1/2 cup of coconut milk (unsweetened)
1/2 cup of dairy free coconut yogurt (unsweetened)
1 slice of pineapple
1 cup of ice

Blend in your Vitamix until it is the consistency you want. According to My Fitness Pal App, this is 269 calories total (134.5 per person) and it is plenty for two people.



FEED THE BEAST: Chocolate Wonder Mint

Ingredients:
<>  10 + mint leaves
<>  handful of spinach
<>  2-4 dates
<>  1 frozen banana
<>  2 teaspoons of spirulina
<>  2 tbsp cacao
<>  1 1/2 cup almond milk
<>  handful of ice

*sometimes we add a scoop of protein powder 

Blend it all together and you have the most delish treat, and it's healthy!
When I want something sweet this does the trick! Because of the fruit, I like to drink it in the morning or middle of the day. Then I can work that sugar off.
