This weekend we all enjoyed spending time with our awesome Pops + Pops-in-law. We grilled out, went to the movies, and still managed time for record shopping. I would say it was a success for all. Ryder, our Nephew, got really into finding records. That kid loves George Straight, Johnny Cash and ZZ Top.

Brandi Today: Gym, then go have breakfast, then make it to my eyelash appointment, shower, head over to the library, chores and budget, then start planning Kelly's birthday weekend with Joseph and end the day with The Bachlorette. Don't forget I watch The Bachlorette after it has been recorded, so I can fast forward through the unbearable parts.

Kelly Today: She's been working hard on updating our shop on her time off from her full time gig and freelancing, so thank you for your patience with us. We will have rings, bracelets, shirts, etc... loaded up in the shop by this weekend. YAY.

Amy has been just soaking up everything that we do. Lucky her, she even had time to go to the Beach this weekend. College kids...

On our last day in Marfa, Brandi and I went to Cobra Rock Boot Company for good byes and last minute shopping (bought those cool bottle wraps you see in the last few photos). Then we had a whole day of just the two of us. We went around snapping photos, explored Marfa by foot and by bike (thank you El Cosmico) and landed at the friendliest place in town, Planet Marfa. Everything about that place was rad. We ended up closing down the bar that evening. Don't worry Mom and Dad, they close early on Sundays ;) More on This place coming soon....

flowers, feathers, and fringe

hello and good mornining peeps! today jacob took some photo's of me outside around 8:30 am and ummmm it was pretty horrible. it's like 150 degrees outside! i was sweating, the lens fogged up, we had just drank our HOT cup of jo...UGH. but it had to be done because i wanted to show you one of my favorite thrifted items from my monday treasure hunt. we did not find new/old furniture for the salon but i did find a lot of other OMG goodies. like....these dingo fringe boots. AHHHHHHHHH! i love them!  jacob and i were fixing to walk out of the store when something caught my eye. i saw white fringe underneath some ugly hiking boots so i ran over (while jacob is rolling his eyes) and discovered there wasn't just 1 pair of dingo fringe boots, there were 2 pairs of dingo fringe boots (a white pair and a tan pair)!!!! SCORE OF THE DAY!!! 

me: jacob im starting to sweat

jacob: go grab a towel then.

me: just hurry..thank you baby.

me: i can't do this anymore

jacob: (laughing)

me: my hair is too hot

jacob: put it up then, i love your hair when it's in a ponytail.

me: NO! why does it feel like we are in a sauna?

jacob: because we are.
