Even though Kelly kept warning us, we didn't realize how cold it was going to be. West Texas Desert weather changes so fast. Our last night was the coldest and the wind was insane when we woke up, so we knew something not so good for us was on the way. Jacob couldn't even make us Breakfast, due to crazy winds. We packed up everything in a hurry and headed to Terlingua for some grub then decided to head to Marfa to stay with some friends. About 20 minutes into the drive and the temperature dropped to 16 degrees fahrenheit and everything began to ice over. Once we got to Marfa, we were hungry again but the town was pretty much closed because it was too cold. Thankful for Padre's and their yummy burgers. You can always count on a bar in bad weather conditions. People need booze when it's cold!
