AROUND MY (VACATION) HOME/// Costa Rica

Jacob and I are back from Costa Rica and already we miss it so much. We had such a fun group of people, it couldn't have been more perfect. I am so thankful for the time I got to spend in paradise with these 5 people. Thank you Kylle and Haley for making this #SUPERRADFAMILYVACATION happen.

This was our home for the first half of our trip. I felt like we were staying in a house from dwell magazine. Such a perfect house for entertaining and just lounging around. It's a modern day, Eco- Friendly Tree House in a Rainforest.

We would spend our time in the house making breakfast together in the mornings, playing around the dipping pool when we were not in town or at the beach, and at night we would head up to the roof top deck and watch the sunset with our cocktails and have spontaneous dance parties! I am currently working on our trips soundtrack for the group. Let me know if you would like me to share it and I will.

ADVENTURES WITH THE BEAR & MIMI: GALVESTON

This past weekend I got some quality time with my baby sis and my nephew in Galveston at the beach. It was just what we needed. Mimi/Amy/Baby Sis is going off to college in August and I just needed some sister sister screaming pop lyrics out the jeep window bonding time, and Ryder well I always need Ryder time. Other than skating and beaching we played 2 new games! Redneck Horseshoes (Last pic) and for the grown ups CARDS AGAINST HUMANITY. If you haven't played this game YOU MUST! It is so fun! I heard its pretty hard to get right now since it's super popular. But hey it's worth the hassle!


-If you love Ice Cream you should check out the strand and stop by La Kings Old fashion Ice Cream Parlour. Trust me.

Other than the ice cream shop there are lots of neat restaurants and shops to check out. I love everything about Galveston really.

record store day. (at coachella)

so how excited were you about record store day? did you go to a record store on april 17th? 

WE DID! we were at COACHELLA in indio california for the amazing 3 day music fest. i was overwhelmed with how much music was around me and it was so hard to decide which bands to check out and which ones to skip. one thing we did not skip was the skip over the outdoor record store. i wanted to purchase:

she & him

edward sharpe and the magnetic zero's

them crooked vultures

beach house

local natives

but i have these on itunes already and i was trying to be smart about my spending so i didn't. boo.

good news is that we did score a SAWEET queen album that we didn't have for 4 bucks. LIVE! woo!

and i super cute red coachella tote. BONUS: we got a free record store day tote with our purchase:)
