David & Bethany Menzel

Our names are David & Bethany Menzel, we live in an old house buried in tall trees in beautiful White Rock, British Columbia, Canada! David plays guitar in the band We Are The City, and I (Bethany) am a hair stylist & blogger. We've been together 3 years, almost to the date! We dated for a year, were engaged for 8 months, and have been married a almost a year and a half. We met in blockbuster. I had been listening to davids band for a while and so I recognized his face and introduced myself. A few months later we ran into each other again and David got my number through a mutual friend. After a couple dates that were always a few weeks apart between tours, we started dating!

David and I tried to think of what our favourite thing to do together was... and after many jokes that I wont subject you to, We realized we just like doing life together. We love our mornings sitting at the kitchen table drinking coffee, we love our evenings drinking wine and visiting with friends, and we love when we get to spend full days together running errands around town or heading out for day trip adventures!

My favourite place to shop is thrift stores, I love worn in old clothes that not everybody has! I also really like to online shop asos.com, topshop, and online vintage shops. Davids favourite is Zara!

Right now were listening to a lot of Ellie Goulding, Mew, Lana Del Ray, Kings Kaleidoscope, and Radiohead.

Our talented buddy Lonnie Webb and his Gf Mermaaidy started a blog with their really good looking crew of photo snappin' adventurists called Kelcema. They have some pretty rad vlogs too. Totally makes me feel like I'm right there hiking and goofing around with them in The Great Northwest. Their instagram feed is "UH- MA- ZING!"

Our Bestie Kylle Sebree makes the most BOMB ASS furniture around. Yes, I just said that and used a bad word. I don't care. His furniture is seriously the coolest furniture and hopefully one day soon I will own a desk, a lamp, and some shelves by the one and only. Check out his blog and save your pennies.
