SEVEN GIRLS HEAD INTO THE DESERT: Day One

The first stop on our adventure into the desert was Austin, Texas for a lazy morning at Barton Springs. I don't think I've ever been to a colder swimmin' hole... I mean, it kind of knocks the wind out of you. Brandi, Josephine, Heather, her new babe, and I spent the first four hours of our day alternating  freezing in the icy cold water and melting under the TX sun. It's rare to find a body of water that doesn't feel like bath water during the Summertime in the south so this place is heaven.

OMG I HEART: Feathers Boutique (Austin TX)

Austin Texas is one of our favorite weekend getaways. Little mini vacations always seem to do the trick.

So much to do, so little time. This is always how I feel when I am there.

I walked into FEATHERS with Jacob and I spotted this vintage $76 eagle necklace right away, but I didn't want to act on impulse like always, I wanted to see everything and think about it. I went crazy in that store! I wanted everything! I was so overwhelmed with awesomeness I had to walk out to clear my head. The whole time we were in the other shops I couldn't stop thinking about this necklace and I told him I really loved the eagle neclace. Jacob looked at me and said, "Well lets go get it then!" I also had to promise to get rid of some jewelry that i never wear. DEAL!
