When booking this trip we looked into a lot of places. We wanted to be close to the beach and close to town so that we could walk everywhere. This eliminates having to rent a car. Last year in April (#SUPERRADFAMILYVACATION) we started out renting THIS HOUSE and ended the trip at Harmony Hotel . The house was awesome but you would need a car to stay here and since there was only two of us that was out. Harmony Hotel is a short walk to the beach and its really amazing but I wanted to try other places. Joe and I have never experienced Hostel Life and since we knew this was a straight shot to the beach we booked a private room which includes our own bathroom. All we had to do was email Dinia Matamoros to reserve our spot and we paid once we got there. Everyone that worked there was super friendly and helpful. Dinia even helped get us a Tuk Tuk (lil red taxi) to transport our luggage to hotel so we weren't dragging them down the dirt road. Even after we left the hostel we would see her around town, cruising on her motor bike and she would always yell "Hello Babies!"

Travel Tips For Hostel Life ///
Pack an extra towel and hand towel other than your beach towel for showering.
Print out a map of the area you will be going so you can walk around and not get lost.
Make copies of your emails /reservations and take the folder with you.
Download the converter App so it's easy to pay.
Pay in Colones if you can most places prefer or only take cash.
Leave a tip for housekeeping.
Have a couple bottles of water in your room and a pack of wet wipes incase they shut off water for a couple hours.
Bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper (wind, dogs, monkeys, birds can get loud).
Use your soft t-shirt as an extra pillowcase. The hostel does provide sheets and pillowcase.
Pack First Aid Kit because hospital is 2 hours away and you don't want to get staph infection, they have kits and antiseptics at Organico but they are pricey.
Pack a lock for your suitcase (valuables) just for your own peace of mind. They also have lockers.
Pack candle and matches for bathroom, it's just courteous when traveling with others.
Pack portable speaker bc it's fun having a Bueno Playlist going while your waking up and getting ready.
