Jacob and I have been working on getting rid of STUFF for a couple of years now. It makes me feel crazy when my house is all messy and cluttered, now that we have minimized all that we can focus on a little makeover in the home. We want to get some furniture reupholstered, some photo's enlarged /framed, add some more color, and who knows what else. We are making our list and our good friend Andie said he would help. She was the one who told us not to get rid of our furniture but just get it recovered in fun fabric.

1<> As soon as Jacob painted our dining and living room white the lighting was way better! I just want to get some better lighting fixtures for the corners, reupholster the couches, and have Kylle build us a coffee table.
2<> I want more green in our home, and I want those Herman Miller chairs in the dining area recovered. I know what I want them recovered in I just have to find the perfect person to do it.
3<> Jacob made these shelves and I love them. I need to cover a few more books and label them.
4<> I love our table but I want our friend Kylle to make us an amazing coffee table maybe with a glass top.
5<> I made these arrows during the holidays and decided I need to spend less time watching T.V. and more time working on things for around the home. (Arrow DIY inspired by Swellmayde)
6<> I have been asked to describe my decor style in my home and I just can't. I have no idea what I would call it. I guess I need to figure that out. I just like way too many themes.
7<> This is my favorite piece of furniture that I own. It's been in my family a long time and my Grandma gave it to me last year. After that I started to feel like this house was our home. See the midcentury modern chair that is poking in? Well we have 2 of them and we also want to get them recovered. I'm thinking of leather, if we go with cowhide we would move them to a different room.

We will keep you posted on the changes, and I would love to hear any advice or suggestions  you have for us!
