Today, I tried going through my closet to get rid of stuff and I just couldn't do it. There are so many items that I don't wear but I don't want to get rid of them for the fear that I will want to wear them later. Isn't that ridiculous?  I have 4 closets, Jacob has 1. HELP!!! I go through stages, sometimes I am really good about giving stuff away, and sometimes I just can't do it... I need a new system. My friend Natalie watches Hoarders before she does her closet cleanouts, she swears it works. What are your rules for closet clean out? I would love to hear some new ones.

We have all heard these rules // This is our argument
1. If it doesn't fit throw it out // But what if I lose/gain weight?
2. If you haven't worn it in 6 months throw it out // It was so expensive though! And I might like it later!
3. If you don't feel like a million bucks in it // That's half my clothes then

I need these Jackets in my life (after a closet clean out that is) ///
one // two // three //

WEEKEND WEARS

Afterlight

hat (thifted)  // sunnies // book // magazine // pants // shoes // clutch // tee // sweater

These are a few of my current favorite items. The hat especially. I went out to the Round Top / Warrenton Antique fair and this hat was my only purchase ($10) because this broad is on a effin budget. I'm also a big fan of wearing cozy vinage/distressed tees with leather/wax denim pants and some sexy shoes. Best of both worlds.

What are some of your go to items this fall?

Last weekend, my pal Derry texted me to let me know he was playing a show in Houston at Warehouse Live Saturday night. I packed a bag and Hauled myself and Zeyk out of the country and into town. I started the evening with my friend Yvette at an easy going dinner party with wine and good company. As the evening progressed, we let folks know we were going to see Jason Isbell + The 400 Unit and Dawes play. At that moment half the dinner party decided to come with us. I have never seen Warehouse Live packed out and participating so much for the opening act before. The boys absolutely killed it. I just wish their set could have been a little longer. After the show, a few of us hopped around downtown and acted a fool.

Tonight Jason Isbell + The 400 Unit will be playing The Belmont in Austin, Texas. If you are anywhere near Austin, you should probably go check it out :)

Also tonight, Vaden Todd Lewis (Toadies fans?) is playing a sold out show at the Stash factory. I love live music.

What are your plans this weekend? Any shows or events in your area?
