You never know who you will run into or meet when your downtown. Kelly and I are always making new friends when we shoot Mucho Monday's and I love it! Allie got these shots of Kelly and I while we were hanging out at Double Trouble with the whole Do or Dye Tx crew. I just love our neighborhood and the people in it. Cobra Rock Boots // Totally Name Plate // Shirt // Jacket // Pants //

It's all about the boots... For my birthday (June 29), a bunch of my friends and family pitched in and order a pair of Cobra Rock Boots for my little flat feet. For those of you who don't know about CRBC, it is a workshop/store in Marfa, Texas owed and operated by my pals Logan and Colt. These two badasses (read more about them here) have designed and built the perfect boot that have permanently become an extension of my leg since receiving them in November. To say I am in love with these vintage-style oil tanned beauties is an understatement. The way they hug my feet, the sound they make when meeting the ground, the look from every angle... absolute perfection. There's a slight heel, but I swear they make me 10 inches taller.

I feel as if I live is some variation of this outfit most weekdays. Especially, when the weather is trying to change, but you don't know what it will actually do (perk of the Houston lifestyle). Yesterday, I spent the day with Brandi working on all our Bueno Shop orders. Only 10 more days of custom orders. We took a small break to head over to Cheeky Vintage ( Richmond + Shepard ) to participate in their holiday #30daysofdresses promo photoshoot and then it was back to work. Thank God for Black Hole Coffee Shop down the street from Brandi's house. Yesterday was long. We are really excited about some of the new stuff we are designing for the shop and the rad folks we've been meeting lately. Can't wait to share!
