MUCHO MONDAY

We know we've been a little terrible at keeping up with you the past two weeks, but sometimes life gets really busy. Because we've been in and out of town, we've been working long hours to try and catch up.

ON KELLY:
Black Denim Cutoffs <> BDG // Highwaisted pants that I cut for shorts
Blouse <> Kimchi Blue
Sweater <> Pendleton
Boots (new favorite) <> Texas Junk ( Brandi found these in High school thanks to Uncle Woob.)
Hat <> Staring at Stars

Neck <> Chrisrann
Wrist left <> Tortoiseshell bracelet from Nicaragua, Brass cuff from Chrisrann, Copper cuff thrifted
Wrist right <> Tibetan prayer bead wrap bracelet gift
Finger <> Brass Bueno Bueno Ring // Bear Ring gift

Market Bag <> Stash Co (Built in Sealy, Texas)
I LOVE this bag mucho mucho. It's perfect for everything from going to work with your laptop and paperwork to record shopping and sneaking food/wine in a movie theater. Since it has a key clip and sunglasses loop, I never loose mine anymore. It's just a badass bag.

ON BRANDI:
Beanie // Vans
Tee // Cobra Rock Boot Company
Denim // Bull Dog
Booties // Matiko Booties
Cape // Pendleton
Rings // wedding ring & Bueno Bueno
Wrist Bling // Chrisrann
Necklace // Chrisrann

Eastwood <> Stash Co (Built in Sealy, Texas)
Every time this bag is worn, you should hear the cowboy whistle. Key features that we love on this bag include the double exterior pockets, antler button and the Stash signature organic edge flap. The bag has a nice rough, but refined feel and will be perfect for SXSW and all the other music festivals we plan on going to this year. Don't you hate trying to juggle a bag, drink and a camera at events? We do!

This weekend was filled with work, friends birthday celebrations, record shopping, family time, and watching Revenge.

Padres
A little bird told us this joint use to be a funeral home, so the locals don't go there because they feel it is disrespectful. Not sure if all that's true.

Late Night Grill Cheese Parlor + Food Shark
What ever you do, do not walk in this joint with a cellphone in your hand, pocket or purse. People will yell and make you feel like a dummy. Best Grilled Cheese of my life.

Abe's Barber Shop
While the girls were chatting in the street and taking photos of the church, I walked over to this charming barber shop to snap an instanx. Then a man named Abe poked his head out of the screen door and invited me in. He was one of my favorite people I met in Marfa. Brilliant story teller.

This is Abe. I'll be interviewing him in October for The Pinpoint Method.

Cobra Rock Boot Company
Best looking/feeling boots you'll find anywhere. Colt and Logan make each boot by hand. I have to buy a pair in October. HAVE TO. I will also be interviewing this talented duo in October for The Pinpoint Method.
COBRA ROCK.

(side note: I really need to stand in a mirror and practice standing, moving, and smiling. I just look so dang awkward in photos. Is this a talent people are born with? I mean, how does this happen? haha)

John Wells left us a comment on the El Cosmico post suggesting The Field Lab for free camping with longhorns, burros and a swimmin' hole nearby. Sounds Awesome. We just might have a detour when heading to Marfa for Travis and Nikou's wedding this October. Check it out.
