Nevin Pontious- lives in Culver City, works in creative for Deus ex Machina
Scarlett de Boer- lives in Leucadia is a makeup artist and camera tech for a broadcasting station. 

Favorite thing to do together ///
Our favorite thing to do together is go adventuring, Which could be anything from a last minute road trip on the Motorcycle, to finding hidden gems, like a odd book store or pet cemetery. 

How did you love birds meet ///
We met on New Years, at cabin trip with mutual friends. IT was up in the mountains next to a lake, the hashtag for the get away was #MBTL13 ( mistake by the lake 2013). Nevin sliced his hand while having a snow ball fight, I bandaged him up. 

Favorite thing about your love muffin ///
I think we both love that we are equally curious and spontaneous. 

Favorite place to shop for clothes ///
Thrifting, any thrift store will do, but we Love Hidden Treasures in Topanga Canyon. 

Music you two have been diggin lately ///
The New arcade Fire Album, "Here come the night" is magical, also Nevin is a huge fan of Russian Polka Music.  

Guilty as charged ///
Guilty pleasure - Nevin- red vines, vintage motorcyle jerseys, and taxi dermy. 
Scarlett- watercoloring , old books, and coffee. 

Fun Facts ///
Nevin is a expert bb gunsman. except for the one time it rickashaed and got him right in the eye. ( YOU'll shoot yer eye out kid!)
Scarlett loves bugs . all kinds. She has a collections, but is in desperate need of a centipede, more butterflies, and a tarantula.

//THEIR STORY 

We met in Los Angeles about 2 ½ years ago (I was living there at the time) and Ian was visiting a mutual friend of ours for the weekend. I was invited to go out on the town and we hit it off instantly. He ended up staying for a week! Shortly after that, he quit his job in good ol’ Lincoln, NE and moved to LA. Fast forward to today and we have an awesome “mini-us”, Ainsley, and are living happily in Texas.

Sunday is our family day, so we always go to a coffee shop (our faves are Blacksmith and Catalina) in the morning and walk through Hermann Park with Ainsley and our dog, Penny. We also enjoy going to the museums in Houston and having dinner nights at our house.

//FAVORITE THING ABOUT EACH OTHER

Him: She's my calm positive side, always a glass half full outlook.  I know that I can always count on her perspective, sometimes harsh, but always truthful.  She's also by far one of the most amazing mothers I've ever met. I am so lucky to have her in my life.

Her: He keeps me sane and is the most genuine guy I know. I love watching him with Ainsley -- he's such a wonderful dad.  Also, he is an AMAZING cook and can make sushi like nobody's business. I definitely got a keeper!

Natalie <> Stay At Home Mama for Finley Girl! I'm so happy I've had this time to slow down and enjoy life's beautiful moments.   

Our Favorite thing to do together ///

We love being together.  We don't care what we're doing!  Justin loves to surf.  He's the best when he comes off of the water!  I like to hang out on the beach and watch him in his element. When we first started dating, Justin tried to teach me to surf. I prefer just paddling around and hanging out on the board. 

How we met ///

Brandi and Jacob introduced us! Justin and Brandi have been friends with each other since high school.  Long story short... I was a District Manager for Abercrombie & Fitch and got promoted to Houston.  A friend introduced me to Brandi and we became fast friends.  Brandi and Jacob had a Valentine's Day party for their "single" friends and I was the only girl!!  Justin and I met that night.  We were dating a month later.  We've been together for 3 years and married for a year and a half.  

Favorite thing about him ///

I love so many things about Justin.  My favorite things about him are his sense of humor, and his ability to do anything he puts his mind to.  He's amazing!  He can play almost any instrument, and he is always surprising me with some random skill he has.  His love for me is something I cannot believe I lived without for so much of my life.  He always takes amazing care of me, and wants to make me happy every day.  To top it all off... my Husband is the most amazing Dad to our Finley Girl.  It's the sexiest.  

Favorite thing about her ///

Natalie is the Yin to my Yang.  When I am excited and overzealous, she calms me down.  When I am trying to wing it, she is always prepared and with a plan.  She's up for anything, which is great for me because it gets me out of the house.  She's the most selfless person I've ever met.  

Favorite places to shop ///

His <>  All Saints, Zara, Urban Outiftters

Hers <>  All Saints, Anthropologie, Urban Outfitters and I still love getting classics from Abercrombie & Fitch.... I also adore rompers.  I would wear one every day if I could.  I don't care if they are "in style" or not! 

Currently Jammin' ///

We both love Ben Harper so much, our daughter's middle name is Harper!  Other than that, we dig Indie music, and anything we can dance to.  We listen to anything and everything.

Him <>  I hate shirts.  I take them off the minute I get in the door and would prefer to never wear one again.  (Justin is a secret romantic.  No one can believe it, but he remembers the oddest little tidbits I say and then spoils me rotten! -Natalie)

Her <>  My Dad is a YMCA Camping CEO. I've lived at Camp virtually my whole life and because of that,  would be a worthy contestant for the Hunger Games.
