this weekend my friend johnny flew in from L.A. and asked me if i wanted to help with a photoshoot (last minute) while he was in houston. it was a no pressure shoot and he said i could get creative and do whatever i wanted with wardrobe and hair. vintage wanted. i love it when that happens!
these are a  few sample photos that i took with my 
"un profesh" camera (g9) during the photoshoot yesterday.

i can't wait to see the shots from his camera. we had a lot of fun even though we went with plan b.

Well kids, it's about that time that people go wedding crazy and satan jumps out of brides to be. To ease stress we put this this together...I know kristi hank & liz jordan will enjoy this.

Things an illustrator can be helpful with other than invitations:
-Prints as wedding party gifts
-name tags
-name plates for the reception tables
-wedding portraits (instead of/along with a wedding photo)
-coasters

Once a week (sometimes twice) Brandi and I are going to continue doing a wedding blog and we will throw in some traditional wedding stuff, but for the most part it'll be DIY and other creative solutions.

Transportation.



Our Little Sister Amy is 15 now. Weird. Anyway she's really into photography and she needed me to help her on a photography project for school. All she wanted me to do was Skate around while she snapped shots. AWESOME! The assignment was transportation. I was super thrilled that she didn't want to take photos of  cars or buses. She's already thinking out of the box. woo!

 FYI: When Im doing something or in deep thought I make really awful faces like I'm in pain, disgusted, or pissed. But I'm not. Promise.

























Look at this little cutie. Kelly and I always joke around how she got all the good genes.  Gorgeous, tall, & athletic. Maybe its cause she's the only one my mom breast fed. Just sayin.
